Life is full and warm and very very busy, but since I’ve shelved one article I had been managing to work on for the time being, I felt I ought to at least put some bit of news on the happenings here at Ars Corvi.
Business First
The next article I had planned was “On AI [0]” in which I was going to take a step back to discuss why people care about or desire AI in the first place. It is more philosophical and theological rather than technical, and it was going to be fairly concise. But the demo readers were left unsatisfied by the constrained scope and not quite understanding the significance of one of the points I really wanted to make. So, that article needs to “cook” a bit longer…
However
I don’t really want to write articles right now, I want to write METANOIA [2] & [3]. Which I have been doing when I’m not enjoying all of the other wonderful, edifying, and very time consuming things that the Lord has blessed me with.
The most significant of which, and worth sharing here is…
Cats
These little numbskulls are part of my life now thanks to the legendary cat delivery service. The short version: aunt and uncle’s old barn cat finally passed on, week later the winery down the road had a cat show up, asked if anyone needed a barn cat, aunt and uncle say yes, get cat, cat is suspiciously rotund, week later… kittens! Now there were 8 cats on the property. Hey Connor, we know you weren’t planning to get animals anytime soon but can you say no to this?
To which I responded, please give me two. That one has been aptly named “Sad Face”
And this wiggly one has been dubbed “Owlbear.”
The collective volume of braincells in my [new] house has seen no positive growth. The amount of adorable cuddles has risen by biblical proportions.
I would not say life has worked out in any way as I would have planned or intended.
And it’s quite wonderful.
The Lord is good. Let us pray and give thanks. I will be praying for you all.
Fabulous. Yes, too adorable to resist. Thanks for sharing. So grateful for God's special treats throughout life. These kitties are quite special.
