Of the Technical and the Metaphysical

Written and produced by Connor McGwire, Ars Corvi is an eclectic publication whose overarching goal is to promote deeper contemplation and appreciation for the Technical (computers, science, engineering…) and the Metaphysical (theology, philosophy, art…).

I’m not very keen on sticking to one particular format or subtopic. Rather, think of this publication as “An Adventure of Ideas.” One day I might post on software industry analysis, the next I might comment on a work by St. Augustine, the next I might split the difference and talk about how a popular JRPG illustrates a clash of ideals between traditional Shintoism and Kabbalistic cults.

If I accomplish anything with this publication, I hope that it is to open the modern mind to the idea that even something so emblematic of our materialist world as digital technology can still be used to point to the sacramental truth of reality.

If that sounds cool (or enticingly weird), stay tuned!

I started sharing my short stories on here as well, and apparently one was liked well enough to get a feature from my fellow Substackers at top in fiction.

So that was neat and appreciated!
